LAURIER GOLF CLUB
Founded in 1994, the Laurier Golf Club is located about 15 minutes from downtown Victoriaville and belongs to the same group of shareholders as the Victoriaville Golf Club.
Moreover, both courses are masterfully maintained by a father-son duo, Jacques Lessard (father) at Laurier and Jean-René Lessard (son) at Victoriaville.
Le Laurier also offers a balanced course of 6 par 3's, 4's and 5's culminating on large greens, protected by well positioned sand traps. It is distinguished from Victoriaville by its beautiful lake that borders several holes.
The management of the Laurier Golf Club invests significant amounts of money year after year. In 2022, an investment of nearly $1M will be dedicated to the expansion of the terrace and the clubhouse, the irrigation of the fairways and the renewal of the fleet of carts.
The course hosts the Machinex Open, presented by the City of Princeville, offering a total purse of $30,000 to professionals from across Canada, and also serves as a qualifier for the Canada Cup at Victoriaville Golf Club.
